At HoodyBaba.com (referred to as “HoodyBaba” / “We” / “Us” / “Our”), we believe in delivering accurate and reliable news to our readers. This Correction Policy outlines the steps we follow when incorrect information is identified on our website. We value transparency and take responsibility for correcting errors promptly while keeping our readers informed.
Our Approach
HoodyBaba aims to publish news reports based on the most accurate and complete information available at the time of reporting. If any error is found in our published content, we respond quickly to correct it. Corrections may appear within the story itself, through an editor’s note, or on our official social media accounts. In case of significant misinformation, we issue a clear and timely apology to our audience.
Updating Content
When updates or corrections are made to a published story, a note is added to the content. We indicate whether it’s a correction, clarification, or editor’s note. If the update involves adding new comments or details from a stakeholder, or a correction of an error found during our fact-check process, we clearly mark it at the top of the article with a bold note like:
[Correction: updated information…]
We also provide a correction submission option at the end of every article, inviting readers to report any discrepancies.
Corrections
When an error affecting the accuracy of a headline, article, photo caption, video, or other material is discovered, we promptly publish a correction explaining what was changed and why.
Clarifications
If a story is factually correct but the wording is unclear or could be misleading, we revise the language and add a clarification note to better reflect the facts. This also applies when an important viewpoint or comment was initially omitted and later included.
Editor’s Notes
For cases where a correction affects the core substance of a story or involves an ethical concern, we may add an editor’s note with a detailed explanation. Approval from a senior editor is required before publishing such notes.
Reader-Submitted Corrections
If a reader identifies a possible error in our content, they can submit a correction through the ‘Suggest A Correction’ option available at the end of every article. Corrections can also be sent via email to factorymadesolutions@gmail.com.
Social Media Corrections
If inaccurate information is posted on our social media accounts, we correct it on the same platform. If correction is not possible, we issue a clear retraction.
Take-down Requests
As an editorial policy, we generally do not accept take-down requests. If someone disputes the accuracy of a story, we review the claim and, if justified, publish a correction or update. Articles are not removed unless exceptional circumstances exist, such as personal safety concerns due to the presence of publicly available personal information.
AI-Assisted Content
We sometimes use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and others) to help with content creation. If an error occurs in AI-assisted content, corrections are made immediately upon verification. If you find any such issue, please email the story link and details to factorymadesolutions@gmail.com.
